Sinusoidal incremental encoders enable a very precise representation of their output signal, since unlike an ABZ encoder, they generate analog sine signals instead of digital pulses, which allow the position to be determined much more precisely by interpolation. If additional SinC and SinD outputs are available, the rotor position can also be determined directly, without having to wait for a reference pulse, as with a UVW encoder, in addition to the angle and direction of rotation.
Highlights
- Compatible with ST600 series frequency inverters
- Sinusoidal encoder with/without C/D signals
- Voltage: 5VDC
- Intuitive installation thanks to plug and play
