Calibration Services for Measuring Instruments
Sourcetronic Calibration Service: Quality Assurance through Standard Compliance. Professional Calibration Laboratory.
In the Sourcetronic calibration laboratory, your measuring and testing devices, such as LCR meters, high-voltage testers, resistance meters, insulation testers, multimeters, and more, are calibrated by specially trained calibration technicians. The accuracy of measuring devices can be extremely important in many cases. If they are not properly calibrated, incorrect measurement results may be displayed, which can have serious consequences depending on the case. At the very least, it makes work more difficult and, if based on incorrect results, can cause damage. This highlights why proper calibration of measuring devices should always be carried out by a specialized calibration laboratory. The Sourcetronic calibration service tests and calibrates in accordance with the DIN ISO 17025 standard, ensuring optimal measurement results for your devices.

Calibration of Measuring Devices in a Qualified Calibration Laboratory
A calibration service is a service that identifies any deviations and inaccuracies in measuring devices or measuring standards (parts of a measuring device). The calibration service determines all data that deviates from the "standard." The tolerances of the measuring device or measuring instruments are initially compared to the standard. Only then can measurements be performed. The typical calibration process involves the following steps: first, the measurement process is described; second, the conditions are established; third, the necessary standards are identified; fourth, a mathematical concept is considered; and finally, the results are listed and documented.

Sourcetronic calibrates practically all electrical and electronic measuring devices. The sense of security provided by proper calibration is invaluable for both you and your customers. The calibration laboratory certifies its work with calibration certificates, which list all measurement data and their tolerances, ensuring complete accuracy and security. It does not matter whether you bought the measuring device from Sourcetronic recently or a long time ago. This convenient calibration service is also available for your third-party devices. All measuring devices must be calibrated and, if necessary, adjusted at regular intervals as specified.

Calibration Laboratory for Measuring Devices – Management, Procurement, and Repair
All measurements and calibrations are performed in a calibration laboratory. The laboratory manages, procures, and repairs the measuring devices. Most calibration services also offer pick-up and delivery services. Additional services include fast calibrations and weekend services. Depending on the complexity of the calibration, devices can also be calibrated on-site at the customer’s location. Some calibration services also provide services like equipment rental or consultation on the purchase of new devices.
Calibration Certificate to Record the Data
When you have a device calibrated, you will receive a calibration certificate from the service, which includes precise results, such as the certificate number, measurement data, measurement uncertainties, and signatures from the calibration staff. This certificate is critical for accurately reconstructing all measurements and documenting any inaccuracies within the specified tolerances. It is important to ensure that measurement uncertainty is noted. Copies of the reports should be kept either by the customer or in the calibration laboratory, depending on the agreed retention period.
The calibration certificate should be drafted in a way that it can be clearly assigned to the measuring device. The calibration service will assist you with storing documentation, ensuring that dates and names of the calibrators are always provided. The certificate must be signed by a qualified auditor from the calibration laboratory.
Feel free to contact us at any time. You can reach the calibration team at +49 421 277 99 99 for the Bremen location or via the contact form below.
