Product information "IO expansion card SIO501-00"

This expansion card is used to add additional inputs and outputs to the control contacts of the ST600.

.

The expansion card is simply plugged into one of the designated slots of the ST600 frequency inverter. Frequency converters up to a power of 5.5 kW have 2 slots, higher power classes have 3 slots.

The SIO501-00 IO expansion card provides the following extensions

.
  • Compatible with ST600
  • 4 digital inputs
  • 1 digital output
  • 1 analog input
  • 1 analog output
  • 1 relay with changeover contact
  • 1 relay with one normally open
Both the digital/analog inputs and outputs and the two relays can be parameterized with the same functions as the corresponding terminals of the ST600. Separate parameter groups are available for this purpose.

The SIO501-00 and SIO502-00 expansion cards differ in that the SIO501 card each has an analog input and output, while the SIO502 card has the connector for a PT100 or PT1000 temperature sensor in this location.

Connections for the digital and analog inputs and outputs are made via spring-loaded terminals.

Suitable wire cross-sections:

  • fine stranded, without ferrule: 0.34mm2 to 1mm2

  • fine stranded, with ferrule: 0.34mm2 to 0.75mm2

The relay contacts are connected via screw terminals.

  • Load capacity of the relay contacts: 3A/AC 250V, 1A/DC 30V

  • Suitable wire cross-sections: fine-stranded with ferrule: 0.5mm2 to 1.5mm2
    • .
  • Tightening torque: 0.5Nm

An external voltage source can also be used as reference potential for the digital inputs (24V-48V DC), which is connected to contact PW.
