Battery tester
Battery testers are able to accurately determine the energy content of different batteries. For this purpose, they apply different measurement methods and measurement sequences depending on the device. Among other things, the voltage, the impedance or the delivered current is used for the determination. Modern devices work digitally and have many different test methods.
In the Sourcetronic Online Shop you can find battery testers from the ST2523 series. The testers ST2523 and ST2523A are available, which differ among other things in their maximum input voltage. While the ST2523 tester is suitable for maximum input voltages of 65 volts, the ST2523A battery tester can be used for voltages of up to 310 volts.
Both devices are housed in a rugged case that is easy to transport thanks to the integrated carrying handle. The carrying handle also serves as a stand for the testers, allowing for easy operation and accurate reading of results. For display, the battery testers have a large TFT color display in 4:3 format with a resolution of 480x272 pixels. All relevant information is clearly displayed and easy to read.
The Sourcetronic battery testers are capable of various test methods, such as the 4-wire measurement. By means of contact testing of the test leads and the formation of reference values, the measurement results are very accurate. The accuracy of the basic impedance and basic voltage is 0.1% each. Also integrated is a 1kHz AC test for constant current sources. The measurement results can be stored directly on an external USB stick via the USB port. Numerous other interfaces such as RS232 or GPIB (optional) allow easy connection to a PC for automatic measurement data acquisition. The scope of delivery includes a detailed operating manual and the exact calibration ex works.
