Impedance meter
Impedance (Z) is an important parameter, used for the characterization of electronic components, circuits, and materials used in the production of components. In the digital age, with ever-increasing frequencies, the importance of impedance, and thus impedance measuring devices, is constantly growing.
The transmission of data must take place as quickly as possible, loss and trouble free. Circuit elements are more complex in practice, as they obey Ohm’s law. They show resistive, capacitive and inductive behaviour, which together define impedance. By measuring impedance across multiple frequencies, with an impedance meter or an impedance analyzer, you can gain valuable information about the item.
