Motor choke

A motor choke is connected between the inverter and motor. It smoothes the current peaks at the output of the inverter. The blunted voltage peaks protect the motor winding against surges and additional heating. The motor noise is therefore reduced. In addition, voltage reflections and overcurrent shutdowns can be compensated with long motor cables.
