EMC filter

Since electromagnetic compatibility, or EMC for short, is regulated by law and sensitive electronics must be protected from power-related interference signals, so-called EMC filters are used to provide interference suppression. These EMC’s are not only used in drive technology but also in telecommunications and other areas. In drive technology, interference signals occur at the input and output of the frequency inverter due to fast switching processes and the switching of high powers.
