What do I have to consider when using an LCR meter?

When using an LCR meter, a zero calibration should be performed before each measurement with a new setup or the use of a different test lead. This will calculate the impedance of the test lead, which would otherwise falsify the result of the measurement. If you are not sure about the quantity to be measured, select the “Auto” function. It automatically determines the measuring method and the required measuring range.
