ST600s | Forward, reverse, stop with switches or buttons
The ST600 frequency inverters have terminals S1 – S4, HDIA and HDIB with which the inverters can be switched to forward and reverse mode via control signals or simple switches. In order for the inverters to accept the control signals of the terminals, P00.01 = 1 must first be set.
Terminal assignment and parameterisation in detail:
P00.01 | 1 | Control mode on terminals |
P00.13 | 0 | Allows forward and reverse operation |
P05.01 | 1 | Digital input S1: Forward control command |
F05.02 | 2 | Digital input S2: Reverse control command |
P05.03 | 6 | Digital input S3: Free stop control command |
The switches must be connected between terminals Sx and +24V.
If a push-button is used, it must be connected to a relay that has been wired to be latching. The change-over contact of the relay’ is connected to the digital inputs instead of the push-button.
