ST600s | Err.05, what does this message mean, what can be done?
If the display of the frequency inverter shows the error message Err.05 appears, it is overcurrent during braking.
Causes:
- The acceleration is too high.
- The mains voltage is too low.
- The power of the inverter is too low.
- Temporary load or error occurred.
- Ground fault or phase loss occurred at the output.
- Strong external sources of interference.
- The overvoltage tilt protection is not activated.
Solutions:
- Increase acceleration time P00.11 or Braking Time P00.12 erhöhen.
- Check the input power.
- Choose the VFD with greater power.
- Check if the load is short-circuited (ground fault or short-circuit between the wires) or if the motor does not rotate smoothly.
- Check the output wiring.
- Check if there is strong interference.
- Check the setting of the corresponding function codes.
If none of these error sources apply, please contact technical support.
