Error message: “No device could be found”.
The appearance in the device manager only means that the RS485 adapter was found.
Devices at the other end of a serial connection do not appear directly in the device manager.
Therefore, the wiring to the inverter must be checked. Are the polarity of the RS485 connections reversed? If necessary, exchange + and -.
If this does not help, there is probably a hardware defect.
