ST500 | Forward and reverse with panel potentiometer
To control the inverter with the panel potentiometer in both directions the following parameters have to be changed.

| F1.42 | 0.50 | The default value of 0.50 means that with settings from 0-50Hz, each rotation step brings exactly 1Hz change. If the control range is doubled to -50 … +50Hz, each rotary step would change by 2Hz. Therefore F1.42 would have to be changed to 1.00 to maintain 1Hz steps |
| F1.44 | -100% | start value (minimum value) for panel rotary encoder |
Now you can choose the speed and direction of rotation using the panel potentiometer.
This function is only for drives with control software C3.0 or later!
