ST500 | Digital inputs – What can be connected and how?
The digital inputs of the ST500 frequency inverter allow the inverter to be controlled by means of sensors, switches, a PLC etc. Terminals DI1 to DI6 or DI8 (depending on the model) are used for connection.
For each of these terminals up to 51 different functions can be parameterized, which are triggered by a control pulse at the input.
The sensor or switch is connected between the respective input terminal and COM.
The functions must be parameterized for the following parameters:
Terminal |

DI1 |
F1.00 |

DI2 |

DI3 |
F1.02 |

By default, the digital input terminals are logically active when connected to COM. This can be changed with parameters F1.35 and F1.36.
F0.11 = 1 for control via terminals only, F0.11 = 4 for control via terminals and panel
