ST300 | Forward, Reverse, Stop via Switches or Pushbuttons
The ST300 frequency inverters have terminals S1 – S4, HDIA, which allow switching between forward and reverse operation via control signals or simple switches. In order for the inverter to accept the control signals from the terminals, P00.01 must first be set to 1.
Terminal assignment and parameter configuration in detail:
P00.01 | 1 | 1: Control mode via terminals |
P00.13 | 0 | Enables forward and reverse operation |
P05.01 | 1 | Digital input S1: Command forward |
P05.02 | 2 | Digital input S2: Command reverse |
P05.03 | 6 | Digital input S3: Free stop command |
Switches must be connected between the respective terminal Sx and GND.
If a pushbutton is used, it must be connected to a relay wired for self-hold. The changeover contact of the relay is then connected to the digital input instead of the pushbutton.
