ST300 | Digital Inputs – How and What Can Be Connected?

The digital inputs of the ST300 frequency inverter allow control via sensors, switches, PLCs, etc. Terminals S1 to S4 as well as HDIA are used for connection. The HDIA terminal can be used as either a digital or high-speed pulse input.

Each of these terminals can be assigned up to 40 different functions, which are triggered by a control pulse at the input.

The sensor or switch is connected between the respective terminal and GND.

The functions are assigned using the following parameters:

By default, the digital input terminals are logically active when connected to GND. The polarity can be changed using parameter P05.08.

P00.01 = 1 to enable control via terminals only.
