ST130 | Analog sensors – How are they connected and parameterized?
There is a wide range of sensors (e.g. pressure sensors, flow, temperature, …) that output their measurement results in the form of analog signals. The ST130 frequency inverters have two analog inputs with the terminals AI1 and AI2 connected to GND.
The inverter accepts a control voltage of at these terminals:
- 0V to +10V DC
Settings for the analogue inputs are located under parameters F1.11 – F1.17. These parameters can be used to change the dependence of the frequency on the analogue input.
The signals at the terminals can then be used to control the inverter, depending on the application. For example, an input voltage of 0V-10V can be used to change the reference frequency.
Parameter F0.02 is used to select the source for the cut-off frequency.
Parameter FA.00 is used to select the source for torque control.
